7/29/10 | MH&T featured on MPBN's Maine Watch with Jennifer Rooks

Time: 8:00 PM to 8:30 PM

MH&T will be featured this week on MPBN's Maine Watch with Jennifer Rooks. For the filming of the segment, MPBN staff stayed a night at Flagstaff Lake Hut, then took a boat trip down the Dead River to do some shooting at Grand Falls, see some trail work in the area and, of course, film the hut construction.  Tune in to see some great footage and hear the latest progress updates and plans from Executive Director, Dave Herring.

The program will first air this Thursday, July 29 at 8:00pm on MPBN Television. It will be the second segment of the half hour program. The first half of the program will be on Summer Tourism Trends. The program will then rebroadcast on Friday 12:30pm on radio and 8:30pm on television and again on TV on Sunday at 5:00pm.

About UsBlogStaffBoard of DirectorsScrapbookEvents Calendar
"I just wanted to thank you and all of the MH&T staff for a wonderful couple of days. The weather was perfect, which helps, of course, but spending the better part of three days hiking in and around Poplar Stream Falls and Flagstaff Huts with seven of my family friends was worth the ache in my 60-year old hips. The trails were in remarkably good condition and we enjoyed every minute. We spend 99% of our time in Maine along the southern coast, and to experience the north woods and lakes in all their summer glory was truly special. Thanks, and we'll be back."
