We need your support. Founded in 2001, Maine Huts & Trails, while nearly 15 years old is still a relatively new effort. When completed, Maine Huts & Trails will include up to twelve rustic, yet comfortable, backcountry huts and more than 180 miles of non-motorized trails. We urge you to get more involved with us through individual membership, business or corporate sponsorship, donations or by giving your time as a volunteer.
As a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization Maine Huts & Trails relies upon the support of foundations, corporations and individuals like you. Your donation is tax-deductible and helps our effort to create this resource of national significance for the State of Maine.
Volunteers are a lifeline for non-profit organizations; our success is directly related to the enthusiasm and dedication of our volunteers. Volunteering is also a great way to get out on the trails and into the huts and become a vital part of our growing community of outdoor enthusiasts.
