This hut wil be located on the remote sandy shore of Flagstaff Lake. The east end of the lake is undeveloped and sits in the shadow of Bigelow Mountain. The State of Maine owns the majority of the shorefront and backcountry area. This hut will be accessible by the same modes as the Poplar Stream Hut and will also have canoe, kayak accessibility.  Construction is scheduled for 2008.
