KINGFIELD, Maine - Maine Huts & Trails will be hosting the first annual Brews & Views Beer Pairing Dinner at the Stratton Brook Hut on Saturday, Aug 1. A master brewer from Baxter Brewing Co. will be on hand to guide guests through this unique culinary experience.
Offering 360-degree views of Carrabassett Valley, Sugarloaf and the Bigelow Range, the Stratton Brook Hut will be host to local chef Jarod Frigon and will feature a locally sourced, summer-themed menu. All courses will be expertly paired with Baxter Brewing Co. local craft beers.
Dinner will be served at 6 p.m. with hors d'oeuvres at 5 p.m. It is $130 for members and $140 for non-members and includes dinner with course-paired beer selections, overnight lodging on Aug 1, and breakfast and lunch the following day.
Racers attending the Backwoods Duathlon earlier in the day, who wish to attend the Brews & Views Beer Pairing Dinner after the race will receive 20 percent off the member or non-member rates.
