New for 2011 / 2012 will be a new shuttle service. This van shuttle will operate every Friday afternoon through Monday morning. Monday afternoon through Friday morning shuttles are by special request only. The shuttle will begin the day at Campbell Field in Carrabassett Valley and make stops at the Gauge Road Trailhead, Long Falls Dam Road Trailhead, the Big Eddy and then back to the Gauge Road Trailhead. There will also be a transfer service to get skiers to the new West Forks Trailhead at the most northerly point of our trail.

The shuttle operates Friday afternoon – Monday morning and holidays. Passengers should plan to arrive at the designated stop at least 10 minutes before scheduled departure time.

Reservations are required by 5 PM the previous night. Walk-ons are accepted on a space-available basis. To make reservations or for more information, call (207) 491-5126.

When planning your visit, we recommend taking the shuttle to the start of your excursion and then skiing or snowshoeing back to your car. Trip planning advice is available.

Shuttle service is available upon request on weekdays. The minimum group size is six people.

Drop-offs between scheduled stops may be arranged with the driver.

Cost for the shuttle is a flat fee $20 for members and $25 for non-members, except for the West Forks Trailhead shuttle which is $40 for members and $50 for non-members.

Pets and consumption of alcohol are prohibited on the shuttle.
