Driving Directions

Access to all the huts is people powered only, so there’s no way to drive to any hut. You’ll drive as far as the trailhead, but then hike, bike, ski, paddle, or snowshoe into the hut. Remember that it can take anywhere from 1 to 8 hours to travel to the hut from the trailhead, depending on your itinerary.

All trailhead directions originate from the Maine Huts & Trails office, click here for directions to office*.
