Event FAQ's

How many miles would I be expected to run?
Every activity during the weekend is optional. We hope that everyone listens to their body and follows their own needs in order to make it the best weekend possible. There will be longer and shorter options available, but on average we will run 3-4 miles Friday, 6-8 on Saturday, and 3-4 on Sunday.

Do we bring any food?
All meals are covered and cooked for you. Prior to the weekend a survey will be sent out to participants to make sure all dietary needs are met.

How far is the Flagstaff Hut from the trail head parking lot?
It’s about two miles from the parking lot to the hut.

What are the lodging accommodations like?
Flagstaff Hut has a main lodge where meals will be eaten. There are showers and bathrooms in this building. Participants will be split up into bunk rooms based on gender with each room having 2 to 4 people.

How much does it cost to participate?
The total cost is $400 which includes lodging, food, guided trail running, at least two yoga classes, and more.

Will there be swimming?
Yes! The lake will be a great place to swim. There will also be options for canoeing or kayaking.

Do we carry our gear to the hut?
No. All gear will be transported to the hut by the Maine Huts and Trails caretakers.

Is there cell service?
Kind of. It is very spotty. I would plan on not having it for this trip.

No, this is a human only event.

Absolutely. As we get closer to arrival, we communicate with all participants who are wanting/needing to carpool
